CALENDAR 2009
The 2009 Lola’s calendar is ready and will be used to collect money for charities. As a previous edition, the 2009 calendar is suported by the City Hall’s Administration of Ravenna, the city where Lola’s live. The profits will be used to buy a GUIDING DOG, to be donated to a VISUALLY IMPAIRED person, through the “Lions Club Project”, “ Due Occhi per chi non vede” (Two eyes for whom does not see). It is a special initiative, as special is the year that is about to finish: in 2008 Lola traveled its 50,000 km in a motorcycle, and had her personal web-site brought “on line”. WHAT IS THE LION'S PROJECT "TWO EYES FOR WHOM DOES NOT SEE"
For years, the “Lions Club Ravenna Host” has been collecting money through various initiative, destinated to activities of the “National Guiding Dog Service of the Lions”, that, in the last 50 years, has been dealing with the selection and up-breeding of the guiding dogs gratuituosly destined to visually impaired people. With the sell of the 2009 Calendar, Lola has also contributed to this important project and with the profits will be possible, for the Lions Club Ravenna Host, to buy a guiding dog that will be donated in the spring of 2009, after receiving the complete training, to a visually impaired person. The guiding dog will be purchased at the Centro di Addestramento Tecnico di Lambiate (Milan) that, since its foundation, has delivered more than 1.800 dogs: Labrador, Golden Retrivier and German Sheperds (only in 2006 a 50 delivered dog quota was reached). Each calendar is sold with a donation of 10 euros (100% destinated to charities) plus mailing. To buy the calendar “on line” it is necessary to make a payment on a checking account of the bank “Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna”. It is also necessary to send an email to info@viaggioconlola.com, with the desired number of copies and the address to send them. Lola will answer the email showing the account number for the payment plus taxes. Whomever will buy the calendar “on line”, will freely receive some of the famous gadgets of Lola like the stickers, pins or keyrings. Warning: the copies for “on line” selling are only 50 (no more...) ...So, hurry up!
